Thumbnailing process
Thumbnailing might be one the most important processes for myself and the client, I have to explore certain things from the story, such as perspective, mood, how it looks and of course, the composition in general. of course the client have a lot of freedom how it looks and some options to keep.

Once we set the thumbnail, I gradually sketch and drop some colors, each process is back to back with the client, and make sure everything is something that they aim for.

Book Title
For this project, I'm focusing solely on the illustration and painting. Since the composition is quite packed—with four characters, a creature, and a detailed background—I want to ensure there's still enough space for the title. To help with that, I’ve created several title placement options. These should not only serve as a visual guide but also give the client a clear idea of how the illustration will look as a finished book cover.
